Lingo Update on VoIP 9-1-1
A huge thank you to all our customers for helping Lingo meet the FCC requirements to have acknowledgement of your understanding of how our Emergency Calling Service works and the differences between it and traditional 9-1-1 service provide by local phone companies.

To keep you informed on our next steps with VoIP 9-1-1, Lingo, Inc. announced in mid-October that we chose Intrado’s V9-1-1(sm) Mobility Service to help support Lingo’s plans to provide E9-1-1 to our subscribers. Lingo has already successfully launched this service in New York City in early July.

As quoted in our press release, "Lingo VoIP phone service provides more features while maintaining the fundamental attributes of the land line at a substantially lower cost," said Doug Weeks, Lingo Vice President and General Manager. "We are very excited about continuing to bring our customers new and enhanced services."
