phone service have available?
Lingo offers residential, business, and international calling plans.
All plans include over 20 great calling features and a 30 day money

Talk Plan - $14.95: Includes all calls to other Lingo numbers

Box Plan - $21.95: Unlimited calling to the U.S, Canada, Puerto
Rico, and 21 countries, and all calling features.
Talk 365® Plan
- $195 per year: Unlimited calling to the U.S, Canada, and Puerto

Can I change my rate plan at any
time?
Yes. Lingo lets you switch to a new plan at any time.
How do I change my calling plan?
To change your calling plan quickly and easily, simply login
to your account at Lingo.com,
then click My Plan in the left side navigation and Change
Your Plan. You mail also contact Lingo Customer Service via
email at customercare@lingo.com
and we’ll take care of it for you!
Is there a service fee to switch
between calling plans?
If you switch to a higher priced Lingo Internet phone service
plan there is no fee for the change. If you switch to a lower
priced Internet calling plan there is a one time $9.95 fee.
This fee will appear on the next invoice after you make the
change.
If I change my Lingo Internet phone service plan, when will my new calling plan start?
Your new Internet phone service calling plan will be effective
with your next billing cycle. To find out your billing cycle
login to your account at Lingo.com,
click My Plan in the left side navigation, then Billing History.
How do I get my fax line if I switch
to a business plan?
Your fax line is activated remotely so you don’t have to exchange your Lingo phone adapter or be out of service for any time. After your internet phone service plan takes affect you will receive an email with your new Lingo fax number.
How does FREE In-Network Lingo calling work?
Each Lingo Internet phone service plan covers unlimited calling between Lingo subscribers, anywhere in the world. Whether you are connecting family and friends together in this calling circle or your business offices anywhere in the world, you can keep an open line of communication at one flat, easy to budget cost.
Are calls to US cell phones included?
Yes. If you are on the Chatter Box plan, calls to US and Canadian
cellular phones are included. If you are on the Small Talk plan,
these calls are part of the 500 included minutes. If you exceed
your minutes on the Small Talk plan or are on Lingo Link, calls
to US and Canadian cellular phones are charged at the basic US rate
($.03 per minute).
Are calls to international cell
phones included in the international plans?
No. Calls to cellular phones outside of the US and Canada
are not included in the international plans. Visit our international
rate calculator to determine rates for the specific locations.
What are premium or special service numbers and calls to them included?
Many European countries have ranges of telephone numbers that
are defined as premium or special services. Similar to international
mobile calls, calls to premium or special services numbers
are not included in the Lingo Internet phone service. Visit the
international
rate calculator to see the premium or special service
rates for each country.
What is considered the US for rate plans?
The US includes the 48 contiguous states plus Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto
Rico and the US Virgin Islands. If you exceed your usage on the
Small Talk plan you will be charged $.03 per minute for calls to
the 48 contiguous states, Alaska and Hawaii. Calls to Puerto Rico
and the US Virgin Islands will be billed at the rate currently shown
in the international rate calculator.
What are the rates to other countries?
With Lingo Internet phone service you can call anywhere in the world
at low rates. Visit our international
rate calculator to see our low rates to specific international
locations.
How many numbers total can a residential
customer have?
With Lingo residential service, you can have up to two phone
numbers that ring to your Lingo phone line. There is an additional
monthly charge for the second number, see plans for details.
How many numbers can a business
customer have?
With Lingo business service, you can have up to two phone
numbers that ring to your Lingo phone line and up to two numbers
that ring to your business fax line, for a total of four numbers.

Are there any charges for incoming
calls or faxes?
No. With your Lingo Internet phone service, there are no charges to you for
incoming calls or faxes.
Are there charges for calling Lingo voicemail?
If you call your Lingo voicemail from your Lingo phone there are no charges, no matter what calling plan you’re on, and it does not count against your available minutes. If you call your Lingo voicemail from another phone there are no charges on your Lingo bill. In this case, you may incur charges for the outgoing call on the phone you used to dial your Lingo number.
Are there charges for using Lingo call forwarding?
There may be charges for using Lingo call forwarding, it all depends on your Lingo internet phone calling plan. If the number you want to forward calls to would be free if you dialed it directly from your Lingo phone, then call forwarding will be free too. If there would be a charge if you dialed the call directly, then you will be charged for each minute of the call that is forwarded. For example, if you are on the unlimited calling plan and forward all calls to a phone number in China, then the per minute calling rate for China would apply.
I have a business plan and the additional
fax line, will this line work for fax and regular voice calls?
Yes, both fax and voice calls will work on this line. However,
keep in mind that you have 500 minutes of outgoing faxes or
calls on this line. If you exceed 500 minutes, you will be
charged at the metered rate of $.03 per minute for US and
Canadian calls. All fax or voice calls to international destinations
will be charged at the metered rate for that destination.

I have the Chatter Box plan, can I send
faxes from this line?
Yes, you can send faxes on your home plan. Simply unplug your
phone and plug in your fax machine.
With charged calls, how are my minutes
counted?
Calls on your Lingo Internet phone service are rounded to the minute.
What calling features are included in my plan?
All plans include over 25 basic and advanced features, including call waiting, call forwarding, all voicemail features, emergency calling service and directory assistance ($0.99 per call). Click here for a complete list of Lingo features.
Do I get a phone number with the Lingo Link plan?
Yes, just like all our Internet phone plans you receive a Universal Number for your friends, family and business associates to call you.
Can I make calls to non-Lingo numbers with Lingo Link?
Yes, you can make phone calls to any phone number in the world. All calls to numbers that are not a Lingo phone number will be charged per minute at the current rate.
