Accessing Lingo Voicemail
Symptoms:
You cannot access your voicemail for one of the following reasons:
1) There is no dial tone; 2) Receive an Invalid Passcode error or;
3) Receive a message that "This operation cannot be completed at
this time". Following are solutions to these issues.
Please visit the Voicemail User Guide on www.lingosupport.com to ensure you are following the correct instructions to retrieve voicemails or change voicemail settings.
Resolution:
- No Dial Tone
If you do not have a dial tone, follow these steps:
- Verify the connections between your broadband modem and your Lingo adapter.
- Unplug your Lingo adapter for 5 seconds and then plug it back in.
- The Lingo adapter will go through its normal process and should reconnect. The VOIP light should appear solid green after a
few minutes. If the VOIP light does not turn solid green please contact Lingo Customer care.
- Dial 1111 to access voicemail followed by your personal passcode (the default passcode is 0000).
- Invalid Passcode Error
If this is your first time accessing Lingo voicemail be sure to use the default passcode
(0000). You will then be prompted to enter a new personal passcode.
If you forgot your personal passcode, e-mail Lingo Customer Care (customercare@lingo.com) to have it reset to the
default.
- "Operation Cannot be Completed at this Time" Error
This problem is often resolved by doing the following:
- Hang up from voicemail
- Login to your Account on Lingo.com, then click the Manage Features menu on the left side of your account management home page
- On the profile page, click the passcode link
- Enter your current passcode in all three fields (your new passcode can be the same as the current one)
- Click Apply
- Dial 1111 to access voicemail followed by your personal passcode.
